Boise Rigging Supply with three locations in Boise, Twin Falls and Idaho Falls is looking for Overhead Crane Technicians to add to our team. Someone with electrical experience would be well suited for this position. We service the entire state of Idaho as well as eastern Oregon. Responsibilities include but are not limited to performing OSHA inspections, new crane installation, troubleshooting/diagnosing problems during trouble calls, field repairs, and shop work. Background in mechanical and electrical is a must. We are looking for someone interested in long term employment.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Overhead crane experience desired(2 years)
• Perform inspections of mechanical and electrical systems to ANSI, OSHA, and CMAA standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems in a safe and efficient manner
• Perform installation of new equipment and modification/modernization of existing equipment.
• Ability to operate manlift (scissor, boom, forklift, etc)
• Must have strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrate the ability to learn mechanical and industrial skills.
• Must be able to work safely and efficiently in a unsupervised or team environment
• Candidate must be willing to travel and work in production environments, with some overnight travel is possible.
• Ability to complete electronic forms in a timely manner.
• Ability to work extended hours, and on holidays, as required.
• Able to pass a Drug Test
• Clean driving record - maintain company vehicle

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to stand/walk 95% of the work day.
• Lift /Carry up to 75 pounds
• Squat, twist, reach, climb, and bend frequently.
• Ability to push/pull material with equipment assistance.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

• Twin Falls, ID 83301: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)

Experience:

• Mechanical knowledge: 2 years (Preferred)
• Electrical: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
