Toombs Orthodontics has an opening for an Orthodontic Clinical Assistant in Prairie Village and Lenexa, KS. The ideal candidate will be dynamic, detail-oriented and able to multi-task with a smile. Our team has a high level of integrity and professionalism, mixed with a healthy dose of fun. All of our staff members are provided with training to make the transition to your new professional home. Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding patient care; excellent chair side manner.
- Assist the orthodontist with all orthodontic procedures.
- Review patient chart prior to orthodontist arrival and log appropriate patient data during exam and treatment.
- Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance.
- Follow organizations safety policies and procedures.
- Have knowledge and understanding of orthodontic terminology sufficient to perform job successfully.
- Verify patient health history and document appropriately in patient chart.
Qualifications:
- Prior dental/ortho experience necessary.
- Outstanding positive attitude and demeanor.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be a strong team player.
