Operations Specialist
Position Description

Reports to: Director of Operations

Job Purpose: Assist with overseeing franchise stores’ daily operations and various aspects of preparing for store openings including, but not limited to:

  • Assist franchisees with establishing store utility and vendor accounts
  • Communicate regularly with franchisees during the pre-opening process
  • Instruct franchisees on ordering processes for all products
  • Initiate new store smallwares order; inventory and stock once received
  • Support manager(s) with staff recruiting
  • Aid with logistics of organizing and conducting new staff orientation
  • Assist with training of store staff in all positions
  • Ensure store-established policies and procedures are followed
  • Conduct store visits in-between openings; report findings to Regional Management
  • Maintain up-to-date education on best restaurant practices
  • Evaluate team processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency
  • Teach operators and management to:
  • Be fully capable of working all BOH & FOH positions
  • Have a working knowledge of the menu offerings
  • Have a full understanding of the POS system
  • Ensure that the store is maintaining proper Brand Standards

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous Hospitality experience of 3 years
  • Previous management experience of 1-2 years
  • Strong analytical and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Access to vehicle for local travel
  • Ability to travel during openings

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Lift up to 30 pounds unassisted
  • Able to stand for long periods of time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
