Job Title: Operations Manager

Job Summary:

As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the logistics operations for an Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP). You will oversee the daily operations of a team of drivers and ensure timely and efficient delivery of packages to customers. You will also be responsible for managing the fleet of delivery vehicles and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the daily operations of a team of drivers, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of packages to customers

- Plan and allocate delivery routes to drivers, maximizing delivery efficiency and minimizing transit times

- Oversee the maintenance and repair of the delivery vehicle fleet, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and minimizing downtime

- Monitor delivery performance metrics, identify areas for improvement and implement corrective action plans as needed

- Train and coach drivers on safe driving practices and customer service standards

- Communicate effectively with customers, resolving any delivery-related issues in a timely and professional manner

- Manage the DSP's operational budget, ensuring that expenses are within budgetary limits

- Collaborate with other DSP managers and Amazon logistics teams to optimize operations and improve customer experience

Preferred:

- AS or BS degree in associated filed related field

- Experience in logistics management, preferably in a last-mile delivery environment

- Strong knowledge of transportation and logistics processes and systems

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify trends and opportunities for improvement

- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team

- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, with a high degree of flexibility and adaptability

- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
