Aspirus Stevens Point is currently seeking an OFFICE ASSISTANT in Stevens Point, WI to work in the Radiology Administration Department at Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital. The Office Assistant greets and receives visitors, patients and physicians. Operates a multi-line telephone console, relays messages and assists with daily operations of the assigned area.
Hours: This position is Full Time; 1.0 FTE or 80 hours per pay period.
Experience/Qualifications
- Knowledge of office procedures in a healthcare environment normally acquired through completion of a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience, with formal typing/computer courses and acute care environment experience. Courses in medical terminology and anatomy beneficial.
- Previous applicable experience beneficial.
- Possesses excellent customer service skills and verbal/non-verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient health information.
