2023 NextGen Ambassador Program
Ambassadors will explore careers in local government by being assigned to one of our participating departments for the duration of the eight-week program. These paid employment opportunities will be for up to 20 hours/week and offer professional development to help you reach your career goals. Come learn alongside staff who will guide and support you throughout the program. The program will run from June 5th through July 28th, 2023.
Program Details:
- Young adults ages 17-22
- Eight-week program
- Up to 20 hours per week
- Paid $15.00/hour

Ambassadors will be assigned to one of the following participating departments:
- Aviation
- Code Compliance
- Development Services
- Financial Management Services
- Fire
- Human Resources
- Information Technology
- Library Services
- Mayor / City Manager's Office
- Municipal Court
- Park and Recreation
- Planning and Data Analytics
- Property Management
- Transportation & Public Works
- Water
