The Hannibal Central School District has an exciting opportunity for an individual to manage the day-to-day operations and long range planning of cloud systems and local and wide area network systems. In addition to collaborating with the Director of Technology and supervising a team of technicians, the successful candidate will provide hands-on technical support as necessary.

The district’s instructional and administrative technology hardware is located in four on-campus buildings with server infrastructure located at the Central New York Regional Information Center (CNYRIC) and includes approximately 400 workstations and 3500 Chromebooks. There are approximately 350 professional and non-instructional employees and 1300 students using the district’s computer technology.

Minimum requirements for this position will be successful supervisory and hands on experience in the installation and management of cloud systems, identity management, computer and server hardware, network operating systems, automated backup systems, security systems, Internet and e-mail systems and network infrastructure equipment. Candidate must also be skilled in network design, policy design, implementation and documentation and have strong communication skills. Candidates for this position must fulfill civil service eligibility requirements, possess an Associate’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent from an accredited institution, and have two years of relevant experience in network and infrastructure management.

Salary range: $75-80K
