This is an exciting opportunity to deliver a fund which supports major tourism projects which promote the natural and cultural assets of the Highlands & Islands.

NatureScot was appointed by Scottish Government as the Lead Partner for the Natural & Cultural Heritage Fund (NCHF). This is part of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) Programme, which aims to increase economic activity and employment. NCHF supports 13 major capital infrastructure tourism projects including visitor and cultural centres, as well as digital interpretation projects.

The purpose of this post is to support the successful delivery of the fund, in particular ensuring quality assurance of claims submitted by grantees, checking and processing of claims evidence, the following agreed processes, carrying out checks that reporting requirements have been met and contributing to the provision of evidence of any internal, Scottish Government and EU audits of the fund.
