Candidates must be mechanically inclined with 3-5 years’ experience in HD truck maintenance in at least two major brand products (PACCAR/MX, Cummins, CAT, Eaton Fuller, Allison etc).

Must be able to converse with customers one on one in a professional manner. Must be self-sufficient, hardworking, driven to always improve, and willing to always go the extra mile.

As a Mobile Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for jobs from beginning to end. This includes taking customer calls, making the repair order, repairing the unit, billing customers, and keeping up customer relationships.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned. Works under limited supervision and selects from written instructions and established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Performs repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services.
• Performs inspection, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
• Inspects trucks and/or equipment, for condition, operation, parts and fluid levels.
• Checks, fills and changes out appropriate fluids for all vehicle parts including engine, transmission, differentials, final drives, pump drives and hubs.
• Greases, oils, and lubricates components during preventive maintenance service.
• Performs adjustments to various systems during preventive maintenance service.
• Maintains and/or changes air, oil, coolant and fuel filters.
• Performs cooling systems maintenance.
• Identifies and designates problems.
• Completes necessary repair and preventive maintenance work.
• Checks safety equipment on truck and/or equipment.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures.
• Completes required paperwork, documents parts and material usage and account for applied times
• Represent the Company Values and adheres to the guidelines of the Employee handbook on a daily basis to all internal and external customers.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Experience:

• Diesel engine repair: 3-5 years (Required)
• Mechanical knowledge: 3-5 years (Required)

Pay:

• Platform is flat rate pay
• Based on experience

Requirements:

• Must have own tools
• Driving record Clean (strictly mobile position)

Company provided laptop with factory software

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
