Duties include:
- Making collections calls and/or correspondence in a fast paced, goal-oriented environment
- Efficiently contact patients on past due medical/healthcare debt
- Professionally persuade patients to pay and support requests including phone payments
Requirements:
- MUST have 3rd Party Collection Experience
- 2-3 years' experience in a medical office, hospital, outpatient surgery center or related field
- Understands and complies with all federal and state laws and regulations: HIPAA and Protected Health Information rules and regulations, FDCPA, state and local laws, collection policies and procedures
- Computer experience, Excel, Word, Medical Billing Software and Applications
- Great Negotiation skills
- Goal Driven
- Strong record of good attendance and punctuality
- Must be available to work two late days and one-half shift one Saturday per month
- Documented past success is a plus!
