PART TIME POSITION with NO weekends or late evenings required!
Are you an experienced, courteous, empathetic, kind, energetic Medical Assistant who wants to make a difference in the lives of the elderly patient poulation? We are looking to fill one (1) Medical Assistant position in Brooklyn, NY. The position is located in a medical office that is within an assisted living facility.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Meeting and greeting patients and families in person, by phone and email.
- Assisting with patient registration, patient flow, patient records.
- Providing direct patient care.
- Care coordination.
- Inventory tracking and supply stocking.
Qualifications and Skills
- Must have at least one (1) year as a Medical Assistant or related healthcare experience.
- Direct patient care experience preferred.
- Experience with eClinicalWorks preferred.
- Experience with multi-tasking.
- Experience in primary, geriatric and specialty care preferred but not necessary.
- Experience with phlebotomy / specimen collection a plus.
