Space & Time are looking for a keen and customer-service focussed Media Executive with a passion for advertising and media buying to join our pharma team in our modern London offices, based next to Old Street station.

The Role

As a Media Executive, you’ll be assisting Performance Managers and Senior Media Executives with the planning, buying and administration of first-class B2B and B2C media campaigns. The role will predominantly focus on key healthcare-related clients within a growing sector and will involve implementing media bookings, researching media opportunities, liaising with clients, creative agencies and internal specialists, and to assist on the reporting on the impact of media activity.

Key duties

  • Liaising with clients via phone and email
  • Providing excellent customer service, building rapport and client relationship
  • Negotiating improved rates for clients, securing added value where possible
  • Providing guidance to clients and agency partners regarding media schedules, creative specs etc.
  • Creating monthly reports
  • Attending and contributing ideas to team and in supplier meetings
  • Researching the healthcare industry and sharing key insights
  • Providing administrative team support

Experience / Skills

  • Degree educated
  • Sound basic knowledge of most media channels
  • Proactive approach in advancing own media knowledge and soft skills
  • A strong foundation of building relationships with key media owners
  • Experience working on healthcare or pharmaceutical-related brands is desirable, or a strong interest in this field
  • Confident telephone communicator with clients/suppliers/senior colleagues
  • Excellent written communication. Experienced in emailing clients and suppliers in a detailed, informed manner
  • Highly organised and able to manage deadlines
  • Good project management skills
  • Numerical and experience using Excel
