The Aircraft Sales Market Research Analyst researches aircraft information and monitors, revises and coordinates spreadsheets of aircraft specs and information for the Aircraft Sales Team. In addition, this position contacts outside brokers and develops and maintains relationships with outside brokers to obtain sold and listed aircraft; creates marketing campaigns and prepares and distributes marketing materials; assists in consignment, acquisition and the sale of aircraft; and provides administrative support of routine daily assignments and special projects.

Essential Job Functions

  • Researches aircraft information and maintains spreadsheets of aircraft specs and information obtained from sales representative, market research, specification sheets acquired from the Internet or brokers, daily e-mail updates, etc. Updates JetNet with notes for aircraft on the market and recently sold.
  • Develops relationships with aircraft brokers and contacts them for information on sold aircraft (i.e. sold price, specification sheet requests, prices for newly list aircraft, etc.).
  • Coordinates Aircraft Sales ad designs and marketing campaigns with the Marketing and Aircraft Sales teams. Prepares and distributes consignment and acquisition documents.
  • Performs miscellaneous administrative tasks (i.e. responds to customer requests; prepares, prints and sends correspondence and faxes, maintains and updates aircraft trends report on a quarterly basis and other reports, assembling JetResources acquisition books, etc.).
  • Supports team members with JetNet program. Work with sales team and JetNet support staff to resolve any issues and request program enhancements. Approves new users to JetNet for Windows and JetNet Evolution and maintains list of current users.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Education and Experience

  • Associates degree in Business or Aviation related field or equivalent required
  • Minimum two years experience with market research and cold calling preferred
  • Previous aircraft or aviation related sales experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Software (i.e. Excel, Word, Access, etc.)
