What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting, we are looking for an experienced, forward-thinking Accounting Manager with proven abilities and achievements. The role is responsible for the management and development of 2-3 staff accountants. The role is responsible for various tasks related to month end close, general ledger review, account reconciliations, and other tasks as assigned in support of shared services.
  • Supervise, direct and review the work of 2-3 staff accountants (including, but not limited to cash reconciliations, intercompany agreements, legal accruals, and intercompany billings
  • Support the month end close process ensuring financials are compiled in a timely and accurate manner, prepare, and review journal entries, and perform variance analysis
  • Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Serve as primary point of contact for external auditors inquiries
  • Prepare accounting policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with segment accounting teams, FP&A and other departments on cross functional projects
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • 7+ year of progressive experience in accounting or finance
  • 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Public accounting experience or working within a publicly traded company
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • ERP experience (Oracle, SAP, etc.)
  • Intermediate-to-advanced skills with MS Suite, notably with Excel
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Consumer product goods experience
  • Understanding of application and use of software used in support of the above functions, including but not limited to: Oracle enterprise performance management, Oracle business intelligence, Oracle financial reporting and enterprise resource management, Hyperion financial management and Hyperion Essbase
