JOB SUMMARY:
This position will be a key role in supporting manufacturing by supplying and replenishing materials, necessary to sustain production. They will be part of our production team and be responsible for inventory management, correcting discrepancies, and inventory transactions. Must be self-motivated and able to manage their time independently.
Shift Available:
1st shift hours 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Overtime is available and occasional Saturday flexibility may be requested.
JOB FUNCTIONS
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Processes material transactions to maintain daily production flow.
  • Performs physical inventory and cycle counts.
  • Handles stockroom miscellaneous inventory issues and transactions.
  • Stocks materials upon receipt or after QC inspection and transactions.
  • Pull materials for work orders, collect documentation, and perform associated inventory transactions.
  • Prepares and transacts materials necessary for upcoming shipments.
  • Work in parallel with shipping & receiving to assure materials flow smoothly to meet all customer and manufacturing deadlines.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Maintain stockroom procedures, organization, and cleanliness.
  • Maintain general office upkeep; filing pertinent documentation for record keeping.
  • Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
  • Assist with generating purchase requisitions, managing delivery, and receipt.

Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Associates degree in business or technical discipline is preferred.
Experience:
  • 2-3 years of experience working in inventory control based manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Experience with FedEx Ship Manager Software preferred.
Required Abilities:
  • General understanding of inventory, shipping and receiving processes and their effects on material flow.
  • Ability to read and follow verbal and written work instructions.
  • Ability to troubleshoot inventory discrepancies.
  • Solid attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Must be someone that is able to multitask and carry out duties based on priorities.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, work effectively with other departments.
  • Capable to work independently and execute time management skills with minimal supervision.
Physical Requirements:
  • Lift up to a maximum of 25 pounds at times.
  • Able to stand or sit for long periods of time.
  • Use tools and technical equipment, as necessary, to complete tasks.
