The Stovall House is a fine dining, high end private club and restaurant on Bayshore Blvd in Tampa.

We are looking for experienced Line Cooks to join our talented team and help prepare meals according to our standard recipes. In this position, your principal goal will be to prepare high-quality meals, plate dishes with an eye for detail and meet the Executive Chef’s specifications..

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Run the day to day operation of the assigned station in the kitchen.
• Check and complete mise en place, pars and set-up of the station. Ensuring product is fresh, and rotated properly.
• Communicate with the Chefs regarding menu items, problem situations or shortages.
• Work closely with standard recipes and plate presentations in order to maintain standards of quality in production and presentation.
• Store items properly at the end of the shift.
• Ensure a clean, neat and organized work area
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times.
• Maintain a good working relationship with other employees.
• Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by management.

Line Cook Requirements:

• 1 year experience in a fine dining environment
• 2-3 years experience as a line cook.
• Strong team working and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Experience working a professional, chef driven kitchen.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Experience working saute, grill, broiler, garma manger, etc.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing and preparing and cooking food.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
