We provide all types of restaurants to optimize their footprint for off-premise dining occasions.

We are looking for a line cook to prepare food to the exact chef’s specifications and to set up stations for service. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.

Pay: $18/hr Full-time and Part-time available

Responsibilities:

  • Prep, set-up and stock workstations with necessary supplies in a timely manner
  • Prepare food for service per approved, standardized recipes (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces).
  • Prepare a variety of dishes to specifications and according to recipes. Must be able to prepare multiple dishes at one time.
  • Answer, report and follow Kitchen Manager’s instructions
  • Clean and Sanitize work station and take care of leftover food, per Kitchen Manager’s instructions
  • Ensure your work-station is restocked for the following shift
  • Ensure that menu items are prepared correctly and completely; in a timely manner to achieve on time delivery to a guest or driver
  • Comply with all food safety and sanitation regulations at all times
  • Must ensure hands are washed with soap and cleaned before preparing any food.
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
  • Please note that we have 3 locations in the Ohio area that are 20 minutes from each other. We will make sure to ask you on the phone screen, but please let us know if you are open to working at the 3 following sites: Dublin 43016, Clintonville 43214, and Gahanna 43230.

Customer Focused Operational Responsibilities

  • Engagement of our customers and drivers will be key in this role, so bring your outgoing personality and smiles
  • Greet guests and provide a memorable experience by guiding the customers or drivers
  • Resolve guest issues and properly inform guests of cashless transactions and how our mobile ordering service works
  • Share your positive high energy and enthusiasm with focus and commitment to exceed customers expectations.
  • Represent yourself in a professional and courteous manner to our location partners at all times.
  • Boots on the ground - collecting prepared food orders from our restaurant members, and assigning them to their designated pickup areas
  • Communicates status checks on all orders with customers/guests
  • Comfortable using technology (Web/kiosks) throughout all parts of assigned shifts.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Complete daily and weekly checklists as assigned
  • Maintain a clean and orderly environment
  • Maintain a proactive approach to the health, safety and security of all staff at all times
  • Be vigilant for any hazards, alerting a manager or leadership as necessary

Requirements

  • Proven cooking experience, including experience as a prep cook or line cook
  • Excellent understanding of various cooking styles, ingredients, equipment and procedures
  • Ability to follow directions with accuracy, speed and a strong sense of urgency
  • Multi-tasking is a highly desired skill
  • Familiar with industry’s best practices for safety, sanitation and food handling
  • ServSafe Food Handler’s certification in addition to any local health authority requirements
  • Ability to read, understand and execute recipes and builds with minimal supervision
  • Working knowledge of a wide variety of cuisines and cooking methods (preferred)
  • Desire to grow and advance as an individual and a professional
