Lift Operator - Homewood Mountain Resort - Lake Tahoe

Job Summary
The Lift Operator is responsible for the operation of chair lifts, welcoming, and often assisting guests at the bottom and top of lifts. Performs opening and closing procedures and sets up lift mazes and grooms’ ramps.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Opens/Closes chairlifts and mazes
- Set up & takedown of lift line mazes
- Greeting, welcoming guests
- checking the functions of the lift
- Puts up ropes and keeps area clean and organized
- Communicates with other operators to execute the daily operations and manage any mishaps that may happen during the day.
- Must be able to be punctual
- Other duties as assigned
- Promotes and exemplifies the Homewood culture of exceptional guest service, teamwork, innovation, and fun! Works well independently and with others. Enjoys “ "pitching in” whenever and wherever assistance is needed. Conducts and shows a high level of professionalism. Values our safety culture, our community, and maintaining a healthy, sustainable environment. Ensures that guests and employees have a fun, safe, and memorable experience. Asks questions, shares concerns, or gives ideas on innovation and efficiencies that improve both the guests’ and employees’ experience.
