Position: LVN / LPN - Ambulatory Care

Location: 8635 West Third Street #1195W Los Angeles, CA 90048

Shift Information: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)

Job Duration: 13 weeks contract with an option to extend

Job description- An ambulatory care nurse assesses patients for long-term care. They develop relationships with patients and their families. Generally, they teach and translate prescriptions for care into sustainable activities for patients and their care givers.

Responsibilities-

• Administer treatments and medications
• Monitor a patient's condition
• Connect patients to support groups and services
• Teach patients how to prevent the spread of the disease
• Educate patients and their families about living with HIV/Aids
• Promote optimal wellness
• Participate in the management of acute illness
• Assist the patient to manage the effects of chronic disease and disability
• Provide support in end-of-life care

Requirements-

• RN State License
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Able to work under high pressure.
• Attention to detail.
• Good organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Years of experience REQ: 1+
• First-timers accepted: (Y/N): Yes, with outpatient and Nephrology exp.
• Certs REQ: IV Certified and BLS
• Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes
• Open to accommodating block schedule? Yes, Monday - Friday
• Locals accepted: Yes
• RTO Restrictions: None

Pay $40/h - $45/h on W2
