ReDiscover has an opening for a Clinically Licensed Team Leader to work full-time (40 hours a week) Thursday through Saturday from 8:30am to 9:00pm and Wednesday for four hours at our Adolescent Urgent Care center in Raytown, MO.

Licensed Team Leader Overview:

Under the general direction of the Program Manager, the Licensed Team Leader provides leadership, clinical supervision, and evaluation for assigned staff members. The Licensed Team Leader participates in evaluating and developing means of enhancing departmental performance as a member of the department leadership team. This role requires proactive multitasking and coordination. Strategy & Planning

  • Direct supervisory responsibilities include supervision of assigned department staff; based on the structure of the program, this could be exempt employees, non-exempt employees, or a combination of both.
  • Significant cooperation with internal sources (administration, program managers, team leaders, etc…) and external sources (police, courts, managed care companies, and all other referral sources), to ensure that the services provided are of the highest quality, accessible in a timely fashion, and produce positive outcomes for those we serve.
  • Provides feedback and reports to appropriate management staff and, as appropriate, to funding sources.
  • Actively participate in a variety of cross-functional teams and performance improvement initiatives, services shall be provided and administrative duties conducted in accordance with the standards of clinical practice established by the State of Missouri, the Federal Government (including various agencies), the policies and procedures of ReDiscover, and the contractual requirements of all payers.
  • Assures compliance with standards, regulations, and laws and works with other leadership staff to ensure the financial viability of assigned service areas.

  • Supports the strategic goals and mission/vision/values of ReDiscover when interacting with clients, co-workers and community stakeholders.
  • Contributes to the mission of ReDiscover by adjusting work priorities and duties as needed to meet unforeseen demands.
  • Exhibits independent discretion and judgment with respect to matters of significance on a daily basis.

By joining Team ReDiscover, our expectation is:

  • Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a social science field (as defined by the Department of Mental Health).
  • Active clinical license in the State of Missouri which includes: Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, or a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
  • Two (2) years of experience in direct service provision in a mental health setting.
  • Requires Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as G-Suite.
  • Understanding the function of nonprofits, specifically within behavioral healthcare is preferred.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and conflict resolution skills.
  • Acts with integrity by observing ReDiscover policy/procedures, accreditation standards, laws, and ethics.
  • Self-Driven individual with a customer service focus.
  • Team-Oriented and skilled in collaborating with others.
