We are looking for a LPN to work 6a-6p or 6p to 6a, includes every other weekend. 3 days is Full time status with benefits!

LPN Job Description

A licensed practical nurse will serve to meet all health and safety concerns of individuals; providing basic nursing care, working under the supervision of physicians and the DON, and supervising direct support professionals. Daily you will help to teach the residents skills needed to obtain their optimal level of independence in health matters, activities of daily living and in LIFE! Duties include, but are not limited to:

• The administration and documentation of prescribed medications and treatment
• Assessing and monitoring health status
• Providing timely and appropriate nursing care
• Transcribing physician’s orders according to Nursing Procedures
• Maintaining detailed nursing notes
• Participating in the monthly changeover of medications and treatments
• Working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care is provided
• Providing direct care to individuals as needed
• Assisting with the supervision of direct care staff
