Responsible for providing the physician with clinical assistance within the office

Job Summary:
Responsible for providing the physician with clinical assistance within the office
- Refill medication prescriptions that have been authorized by the Physician
- Schedule surgeries
- Coordinate surgeries with surgical reps/vendors
- Perform post-operative patient evaluations
- Complete referrals/authorizations/pre-certifications
- Room patients and collect histories
- Maintain office compliance for TJC, CMA, OSHA, and other regulatory bodies
- Provide patient education
- Maintain medication inventories, including samples
- Prepare and administer medications as directed by physician with associated documentation
- Practice within scope of law and licensure
Requirements:
Required
- Active Ohio LPN License (and/or PA if applicable)
- Current AHA BLS certification
Preferred
- EMR experience
- Coding and scheduling experience

Full-time, Monday-Friday 8am-4pm.
