HG Doctors' Behavioral Health Department is seeking a Licensed Psychologist (PhD, PsyD) to join our expanding team. This position would work as an Independent Contractor within our Behavioral Health Department. We are part of an interdisciplinary primary care organization offering a range of diagnostic and therapeutic services in Broward and Palm Beach County. The HG Doctors organization treats adults across the lifespan with a focus on integration of mental health services in primary care and additional specialties. The work is very rewarding & independent with a full clinical and administrative support structure to keep psychologists focused on quality patient care.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have expertise in working with a range of disorders, and understanding of the impact of co-morbid medical conditions on mental health.

Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is preferred

Strong written and oral communication skills, and strength in organization and time management.

Responsibilities

Related professional responsibilities include provision of individual psychotherapy.

Compliance with all requirements to maintain a Florida Psychologist and/or Counselor License.

Ensures compliance to American Psychological Association Standards, in addition to HG Doctors Behavioral Health policies and procedures.

Coordinates and is administratively responsible for timely record management through electronic medical record (EMR) software.

Perform psychological diagnosis and treatment; and participate in staff discussions of patient diagnosis, treatment, and progress.

Maintains current knowledge of psychology/counseling practice.

Participates in monthly staff meetings.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
