Job description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Machine Operator to join our Plastics Department team for the night shift. The position is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining plastic extrusion machinery to produce high-quality products for our customers.

Shift Schedule: Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate plastic extrusion machinery to produce high-quality products.
• Monitor production and quality to ensure compliance with established standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimize downtime.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience operating machinery, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work night shift hours.

Pay: $16.50 per hour
