Job description

The Bellefonte Elks is looking for someone to operate their kitchen. The successful candidate could choose to become an employee of the Elks or operate as an independent vendor. They will be responsible for providing food service on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings from 5:30PM to 8:30PM. They will offer a standard Tavern Menu and a dinner special each night. Wednesday and Friday specials will be determined by the cook. Thursday's dinner special will be Wing Night. There is a possibility of having a very limited Grill Menu on Saturday and Sunday in the future.

The Operator will also be responsible for catering events that take place in the Club's Dining Room. The Dining Room is rented to groups for holiday parties, birthday parties, wedding and baby showers, etc. The Lodge also holds special events throughout the year. Catering could be on Saturdays or Sundays throughout the year. Currently the club caters the Bellefonte Lions Club dinner meeting the first and third Thursdays of the month, which coincides with Wing Night.

A minimum of 3 years experience in operating a kitchen is required. A background check is required.
