Reconnaissance & Targeting Systems (RTS) is a growing~$300M business product line headquartered in McKinney, TX, also with programs in El Segundo, CA, and Dulles, VA.RTS is experiencing revenue growth, with development programs and international business both currently expanding.

This Junior Analyst - Program Cost Controls position is an integral part of the RTS & Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Systems finance teams, helping to build strategy, improve tactical financial performance, and developing and implementing program finance process improvements.

Primary responsibilities include partnering with the Program Manager and CAMs/IPTLs (Cost Account Managers/ Integrated Product Team Leads) and provide personal involvement in the successful proposal and execution of the contract. Ensure that all required financial inputs (including reporting) are reviewed, analyzed, and submitted on time. Responsibilities include variance analysis, data reviewing and reporting, Latest Revised Estimates, and Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) development. Additional responsibilities include compliance with internal EV analysis and reporting. Individual shall also be responsible for providing the internal financial planning (e.g., bookings, sales, profit and cash forecasting and analysis) and billings. In addition, this position is responsible for actively identifying risks that affect cost and/or schedule and providing proactive analysis of all financial aspects of the projects. The individual will also be responsible for assisting in proposal activity, such as providing data to support BOEs, gate packages charts, etc.

The ideal candidate must be able to prioritize and embrace a challenging, fast paced, deadline driven environment.

In addition, professional and effective communication skills are required due to the frequent interaction with program and functional leadership.

This position will provide an opportunity to enhance skills in material & labor analysis, earned value management system (EVMS) forecasting (including Rplan), estimate at completion (EAC), variance analyses, and leadership presentations.

Required Skills:

  • Typically requires 2+ years of experience

  • Ability to meet critical deadlines and develop reports to drive solutions and process improvements

  • Experience analyzing data and information necessary to ensure program performance to plan and to ensure that problem areas are identified, and corrective action is taken

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate financial concepts to non-financial managers

  • Work independently under limited supervision

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and influence in a matrix organization

  • Demonstrated strong mathematical and analytical skills

  • Proficient computer software skills: MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.

  • U.S. Citizenship Status is Required as this position will require the ability to Access US Only Data Systems

Education:

Typically requires Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.

The salary range for this role is $62,000 to $124,000; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
