We are expanding our staff and seeking a Service Driver to join the Hays Electrical Services design team.

Job description

The job of a Service Driver Electrician typically involves providing electrical services to customers at their premises. This can include installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical equipment, as well as troubleshooting electrical problems and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Description:

· Driving to customer sites to perform electrical work.

· Assessing customer needs and providing estimates for electrical services

· Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical equipment such as wiring, lighting fixtures, and appliances

· Troubleshooting electrical problems and identifying solutions

· Testing electrical systems and ensuring they are functioning properly.

· Adhering to safety protocols and regulations, including wearing protective gear and ensuring proper grounding

· Communicating with customers to provide updates on work progress and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.

· Maintaining accurate records of work performed, including time spent and materials used.

· Keeping up to date with changes in electrical codes and regulations

To perform these duties, a Service Driver Electrician should have a thorough understanding of electrical systems and equipment, as well as strong problem-solving and communication skills. Additionally, a valid driver's license and the ability to operate a service vehicle may be required.

Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate will satisfy the following requirements and qualifications:

• Journeyman or Master electrical trade license

• Minimum of three years' experience

• Valid driver's license

• Ability to multitask while staying organized

• Experienced communicating technical information with others
