JOB PREP REPRESENTATIVE for SMART HOME TECHNOLOGY AND AFTERMARKET SERVICE DEPARTMENTS

This position will focus primarily on job prep and warehouse duties. They will be responsible for inventory management, product ordering and delivery as needed. This position will also assist with network programming and configuration for both the branches and any AMS systems that are sold. They will support Low Voltage Supervisors across the company with systems sold through Estimating and Design. This position will also provide back-up to the Data Entry Representative position.

Job Responsibilities:

• Job preparation and warehouse duties:
• - Prepare materials and equipment for jobs.
• - Organize and maintain the warehouse inventory.
• - Ensure timely availability of required supplies and tools.
• Inventory management:
• - Monitor and track inventory levels.
• - Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate records.
• - Coordinate with suppliers for product ordering and replenishment.
• Product ordering and delivery:
• - Place orders for necessary products and materials.
• - Coordinate delivery schedules and ensure timely arrival.
• - Verify incoming shipments and reconcile them with purchase orders.
• Network programming and configuration:
• - Assist with programming and configuring network systems.
• - Support branch locations with network setup and troubleshooting.
• - Configure and maintain AMS (Access Control and Monitoring Systems) that are sold.
• Collaborate with Low Voltage Supervisors on project implementation
• Provide backup support for the Data Entry Representative role
• Prepare miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• 0 to 2+ years experience
• Hiring preference is given to those with solid experience in the related field
• Must be able to read documents, printouts, reports, computer screens and other written communications
• Must be able to write, type and use phone system
• Willing to undergo a pre-employment criminal, driving and drug screen
• Superb organizational and time management abilities

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent
