Job description

This candidate is responsible for fine gemstone jewelry sales, fine handbags and footwear sales, and other accessories. GEMMA is the only full gemstone jewelry store in the Hilton Head/ Bluffton area. We carry gemstones set into rings, earrings, pendants, full necklaces, and bracelets. We sell sterling silver and gold jewelry. The job responsibilities would include learning about the different gemstones and selling them to customers, while trying to upsell by matching with other pieces in the store. The candidate must be able to handle POS systems, stock items properly and in a manner that is pleasing to customers. We expect this candidate to speak courteously at all times and handle all situations professionally. This job requires the utmost trustworthiness, but we believe in treating our employees fairly and with kindness and respect. Also, we do offer an employee discount on all items. Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
