Purpose of Position:

The Project Manager will personally manage the execution of multiple critical projects while supporting the organization in maturing our project management processes. A degree of pragmatism and flexibility will be necessary to add the appropriate level of the process while operating in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with Business and Technical Leads to determine and define project scope and objectives
• Work with Technical Leads to identify resources needed and participate in ongoing team staffing/priority conversations
• Work with finance on the classification of labor (opex / capex) on approved projects
• Track project labor and costs in order to meet budget
• Develop and utilize standard project plan and status templates; align with Project Sponsor on status communication frequency and audience.
• Act as the single point of contact for 3rd party vendor technical teams during project phases.
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution
• Monitor risks and progress and adjust as needed
• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
• Develop and document project management processes to be used across the organization

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of technology project management and related experience
• Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
• Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
• Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
• Proven ability to work in an environment of shared technical resources
• Proven success working with all levels of management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Proven ability to solve problems creatively
• Excellent analytical skills

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field is preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
