THIS JOB IS ELIGIBLE FOR A $1000 NEW HIRE BONUS**


Starting Pay Range $71,000 to $83,500 annual based on experience

Those who are fluent in Spanish are eligible for a language differential pay.

Our IT Operations Manager promotes member financial well-being through ensuring the IT Operations team is providing the ultimate member and employee experience through monitoring the day-to-day operations of the department and guiding the team. This position is responsible for overseeing Embold Credit Unions technological, software and programming needs and implement IT standards, policies and procedures. The IT Operations Manager collaborates with the team and IT Senior Leadership on strategies for facilitating more efficient use of applications by analyzing workflows and making recommendations for improved use to better meet the credit union's mission and business objectives.


Here is a snapshot of what our IT Operations Manager’s day-to-day looks like:

  • Oversee the team that acts as first line support in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of PCs, printers, terminals, etc., coordinating with technical support, vendors and other IT team members to resolve hardware, software, and network problems.
  • Responsible for partnering with IT Senior Leaders to establish performance objectives and goals for department and staff; develop action plans to support success through observation, activity tracking, and regular assessment of team and individual skill level.
  • Create an encouraging environment by coaching, mentoring, and developing employees; provide frequent feedback regarding individual performance and ensure the team meets department goals and objectives including service, production, and efficiency goals.
  • Oversees department training of current and new employees to ensure they are confident in job functions. Arranges needed trainings to overcome knowledge gaps and coordinates cross-department training including relevant sales, service, compliance, and technical skills training.
  • Monitors and tracks daily functions and reviews documentation of IT tickets that ensure team members are making appropriate decisions and operating within established credit union policies, procedures and applicable compliance regulations.
  • Ensures ongoing support to all Credit Union users in the use of end-user hardware and software products.
  • Manages relationships with third-party vendors for support and project management.
  • Identifies, makes recommendations, and collaborates with IT Senior Leadership on procedures, techniques, and standards to implement new and/or improved ideas to increase effectiveness, service sensitivity, and productivity of the department.
