POD Logistics, a trucking and warehousing company is looking to add someone to its NY office to assist the billing department. This is an entry-level position with room to grow!!!!

Responsibilities:

• Preparing invoices, bills, or statements for trucking and warehousing services rendered
• Match incoming bills with requisition lists from various departments
• Enter bills into QuickBooks and assist in paying bills
• Monitor accounts receivable and assist in collections
• Reviewing invoices to ensure that they are accurate and complete before sending them to customers
• Tracking and managing incoming payments, including sending reminders to customers when bills are overdue
• Maintaining customer records including contact information, purchase history, account status, and other data
• Contacting clients to answer questions about billing statements or payment plans
• Communicating with customers to answer questions about products and services
• Providing support to other departments such as accounting or human resources when needed

Skills and Qualifications:

• High School or equivalent degree
• Some office experience preferred
• QuickBooks experience preferred
• Microsoft Excel experience preferred
• Must be organized and responsible, and have a professional demeanor

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
