Our M&A practice is made up of professionals working closely with middle market companies nationwide to help maximize opportunity and minimize risk associated with a variety of strategic transactions to grow, acquire, consolidate, finance or exit a business. Paired with strong client relationships and business-focused perspectives, this specialization allows us to bring tangible value to each client engagement or transaction. Under the direction of a Managing Director, Vice President, Associate, or Senior Analyst, an Analyst is expected to perform many of the elements of an engagement.

What You’ll Do:

• Interact directly with transaction team members on matters related to client and engagement management
• Create transaction financial models to be used in valuation, structuring and negotiation
• Prepare detailed memoranda and presentations describing the key attributes of client companies and industries
• Data gathering, document review and preparation of reports
• Research & financial analysis of target companies
• Communication with business owners to ensure delivery of exceptional client service
• Learn and grow from direct on the job coaching and mentoring along with participating in firm wide learning and development programs

Successful candidates will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required.
• One (1)+ year of experience in investment banking, business valuation services, commercial banking, or public accounting.
• Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, project management, communication, and highly developed Microsoft Suite skills required.
• Experience creating discounted cash flow and leveraged buyout models and analysis.
• Ability to provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning, display appropriate ethical knowledge and commitment and exhibit a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and the timely completion of duties.
