Peoplelink Staffing has partnered with a PREMIER employer in the Greater Boston area. Our client services the eCommerce industry – providing fast, safe, sustainable fulfillment and delivery. We are currently hiring Inventory Associates (with Forklift) for our Braintree, MA fulfillment center.The Inventory Associate (with Forklift) is responsible for ensuring inventory on hand is correct and placed in the system directed location. This position is aware of the activities of each department that touch inventory and are responsible for ensuring that all product at pick locations is monitored and full.
Inventory Associate (with Forklift) Job Summary:
- 2 different shift options
- Monday – Friday 3pm-11:30pm
- Saturday – Tuesday 7am-5:30pm
- Temp to HIRE
- Climate Controlled facility
- $20.00 / hour
- Create reports from the warehouse management system regarding current inventory levels
- Perform physical inventory audits, customer requested cycle counts and product inspections as required
- Fill and help maintain inventory levels
- Collect, resolve and report on inventory discrepancies
- Research and reconcile inventory discrepancies using the warehouse management system
- Maintain pick locations and ensure product received is put away
- Identify root cause to help eliminate redundant errors
- Comfortable working in a refrigerated/freezer environment
- Familiar with lot numbers and expiration dates
- Knowledge of Net Suite a pus
- Sit down forklift certification REQUIRED
- Must regularly lift and or move heavy packages up to 50 pounds
- Able to use a pallet jack
- At least 2 years of warehouse experience
- Attention to detail and accuracy
