The Interim Director of Nursing is responsible for the supervision of the Long-Term Acute Care Department.He/She is also the administrative representative in the absence of other administrative personnel. This opportunity is currently in Antioch, California.

Job Description (Interim Director of Nursing - LTC/SNF):

• Combination of social service/healthcare facility
• Oversees the nursing staff and overall nursing operations of their healthcare facility.
• Evaluating and directing all nursing employees, establishing goals for the nursing department and creating and enforcing compliant healthcare policies.
• In absence of the Administrator, assumes the responsibility for SNF operations.
• 13-week assignment with the potential for becoming a permanent position.

Job Requirements (Interim Director of Nursing - LTC/SNF):

• RN license in good standing with the state of CA.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• At least 2+ years of experience as a Director of Nursing in long-term care.
• Excellent communication, leadership and mentoring skills.
• Ability to implement programs, policies, and procedures that are necessary for providing quality care.
