Interim Perinatal Nursing Director

The Perinatal Interim Nursing Director is responsible for the operational oversight and direction of assigned hospitals/markets and associated service line operations. The Perinatal Nursing Director works in collaboration with the AVP of Women and Children’s Service Line, and facility leadership, focused on implementing strategy and initiatives for service line operations and growth.
General Responsibilites:
Responsible for being the subject matter expert (SME) in Perinatal Services and for providing leadership to facilities.
Plan, support and promote the Perinatal Services at facilities consistent with Company Mission, Vision, and Values.
Provide support to facilities regarding perinatal operations, quality of care, and patient safety.
Assume primary responsibility for assimilating, identifying, and disseminating best demonstrated practices across the Company to support key strategic focus areas.
Collaborate with OB/GYN/Pediatric provider teams to develop patient-focused, employee-owned, data-driven, and servant-led initiatives to best serve the community in which the facility operates.
Collect and interpret data, define issues/problems, and draw valid conclusions.
Coordinate and communicate with other leaders within the facilities
Education: Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree preferred
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in service line specific director role or similar healthcare setting, with specific leadership experience.
Certifications: Prefer NCC certification in Obstetrics. Recent completion of AWHONN Fetal
Monitoring course and Neonatal Resuscitation
Licenses: Appropriately licensed as required by the service line.
