We have a requirement for

Title: Informatica Support Engineer

Location: Remote: Yes (locals to San Diego, CA are preferred)

Interviews: 3 rounds

Visa: Any visa

Responsibilities:

· Application support for Enterprise Analytics & Data Management (GUILD) Engineering applications, engines, API’s catering Company users in a managed services model as expected by Company.

· Proposed support staff locations – USA (San Diego) with 24/5 coverage from Monday to Friday and on-call support on weekends and public holidays.

· L2 & L3 support; Incident, Problem and Change Management for GUILD support teams code fixes, deployment support for CRQ’s (Call Request) where applicable and support contribution is essential.

· Coordinating with Company L1 Support (Digital Service Center) as needed

· Proactively monitoring application log files, dashboards and monitoring alerts and track them for closure.

· Suggest improvements to existing monitoring coverage (app, infra, and integrations), potential monitoring instrumentation / tools to address monitoring gaps or approaches as needed. Company qualifies suggested improvements and allocates Company capacity for further review and implementation. Company will make reasonable attempts by providing ETA for the Company owned initiatives/tasks/activities to address the monitoring pitfalls which would help identifying the issues and address them proactively.

· Responding to application alerts on cloud watch & other monitoring tools like IICS, application log files.

· Alert enrichment and improving Application / Infrastructure / Third parties apps / Integrations monitoring the coverage and implementing appropriate system thresholds will be the Company's responsibility and enable Tavant’s GUILD support with sophisticated monitoring, alerting, and thresholds for better decisions on the system state while performing day-to-day system monitoring, communicate with end users/business to explain the issue(s) and resolution.

· Coordinating with other Company staff and boundary teams as appropriate in a timely fashion.

· Bug fixes and change implementation.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Experience:

  • Informatica: 5 years (Preferred)
  • SQL: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Data warehouse: 1 year (Preferred)
