Job description

To be considered for this opportunity you must have previous experience of working for a freight forwarder demonstrated in your resume.

A minimum of 2 years of experience in Import or Export Operations in Air or Ocean within the freight forwarding industry.

I am working with one of the TOP 10 Freight Forwarders in the World who are looking to hire a number of full time staff with Import or Export experience where the candidates need to responsible, work independently, eager to learn and to grow.

Job role

To provide superior customer service to its customers.

To process air or ocean import or export shipments.

Assist customers on the telephone and through e-mail by acting as the central point of contact between the customer and all departments.

Enter air import shipment information into the systems and create air/ocean documentation including arrival notices, invoices, delivery orders and file settlement reports.

Communicate with customs brokers and overseas agents regarding shipment details and problem resolution.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUARLIFICATIONS

A minimum of 2 years of experience in Air or Ocean operations

Effective communication, including writing, speaking and interpersonal communication

Quick critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
