Job Summary:
Accountable for the development, implementation, and continual improvement of select corporate-level HSE programs. These programs will play a fundamental role with enhancing Pioneer’s Culture of Safety. This role will collaborate with business partners regarding various HSE programs and will provide necessary oversight to ensure program alignment with local, state and federal agencies.
Job Duties:
  • Utilizes continual improvement skills, project management techniques, and facilitation capabilities working closely with subject matter experts to improve and enhance select existing HSE Programs and develops new programs as required with a primary focus on HSE risk management
  • Analyzes the value of identified opportunities for select HSE programs and prioritizes accordingly.
  • Liaisons with HSE Corporate Subcommittees as required. Represents and presents on behalf of the HSE programs of oversight for both internal and external meetings.
  • Develops a good working knowledge of HSE polices, rules, & regulations as they pertain to the programs of oversight.
  • Stays current with technological developments, laws, regulations, standards, codes, products, methods, and practices as it pertains to the programs of oversight
  • Internal applicants should meet all eligibility requirements per employee handbook.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, business, engineering, or related degree preferred.
  • 9+ years cumulative experience in O&G, health & safety, program/project management, or engineering is required.
  • 4+ years cumulative experience in risk management is required.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with peers, clients, and contractors to establish priorities and resources needs. Willingness to listen and translate abstract request into actionable deliverables.
  • Track record of being a demonstrated self-starter, possess the interpersonal skills and business acumen to direct and/or work within multidisciplinary teams, and ability to lead and motivate others.
  • Working Proficient with Microsoft office suite and professional business process mapping software. knowledge of API, OSHA, NEC, NFPA, EPA, state and local regulations.
  • Up to 15% travel.
