Job Summary

To administer the HR Operations tier one services in the company by demonstrating subject matter expertise and driving operational capability in a timely and accurate manner. The HR Coordinator responsibilities include benefits, recruiting, and administration, as well as support for all functional areas of HR.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the day-to-day delivery of tier one HR support and serves as the HR subject matter expert to all employees
  • Acts as a liaison with key functions of HR (benefits and compensation, HRIS, payroll, recruiting) as well as vendors to resolve
  • HR related inquiries or requests
  • Manages administration of HR processes for onboarding, employee changes, and offboarding. Serves as the main point of
    contact for employees during their life cycle.
  • Maintains and updates employee data in HRIS (hiring, employee changes, accruals, terminations, etc)
  • Troubleshoot tier one HRIS issues, including updating security permissions
  • Completes basic HRIS reporting requests
  • Address tier one payroll issues including, discrepancies, PTO requests, union earnings, parental leave earnings, etc.
  • Monitors benefits enrollment for new employees; assists with annual open enrollment
  • Manages the leave of absence process including communications with employees, managers, HRBP's, and vendors,
    ensuring HRIS updates are made timely
  • Provides support in the delivery of HR projects such as acquisitions and integrations
  • Adheres to existing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal laws, corporate policies, and
    business objectives
  • Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community
  • Embodies the culture, values, and tenets of PharmaCann and full support of our purpose, goal, and key objectives

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Experience working in a professional environment; strong customer service skills. Prefer 2 years' previous work experience
    in HR
  • Strong analytical, attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal/written communication and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with benefits administration COBRA, FMLA and related federal and state regulations strongly preferred
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and handle sensitive data securely
  • Ability to work independently and as a solid team player
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks
  • Strong customer service mind-set
  • Demonstrates proactive attitude and is resourceful
