We are seeking a Housekeeper to join our Preschool! You will perform a variety of cleaning and organizing duties.

Hours are 9:00-5:30 with an hour break.

Free childcare for your child if they are age 2-5.

On the job training available to become preschool teacher if desired.

Responsibilities:

• Clean classrooms, kitchen, bathrooms, and halls
• Gather and take out trash
• Ensure a clean and orderly environment
• Sterilize materials used in classrooms and food preparation
• Move reasonably small furniture as necessary
• Maintain working condition of cleaning equipment
• Perform heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors and baseboards, wiping walls, shampooing rugs, and blowing wood chips off sidewalks
• Perform routine maintenance tasks
• Organize custodial closets and spaces
• Supply aid to classrooms as necessary
• Assist in cooking lunch and fixing snack
• Assist in classrooms when needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or other related fields is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with cleaning materials and equipment
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong organizational skills
• Must be able to work independently
• High school diploma or equivalent
