Job Classification: Hourly (Non Exemption Status)

Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least a high school graduate or equivalent and at least 18 years old.

General Requirements: Lakewood Landing Senior Living facility is seeking housekeepers to be responsible for making sure all assigned areas are clean and neat, by a person who also possesses a desire to enhance the quality of life for the people whom they serve and their families.

• Must be able to maintain complete confidentiality of client information and be completely trustworthy in relation to working with client’s property

• Must be able to read and write English at an average adult level

• Employee must be respectful and considerate and able to communicate in English clearly in person and over the phone

• Must have basic cleaning skills and a basic working knowledge of cleaning equipment and products

• Employee must pass background check prior to providing cares

• Must be able to be on feet for long periods of time

• Must be able to work around chemical cleaning solutions

• Required to lift, carry, walk, sit, push, pull-be able to move continuously during work hours and be able to carry 50-75 lbs without risk of injury

• Must have a positive attitude, must be self motivated and able to complete tasks with little or no supervision

• Ability to work well with other people

• Employee must be flexible and willing to adapt to changing situations in a professional manner

• Employee must work holidays and every other weekend

• The employee must be neat, clean, and adhere to the tobacco free policy

• Employee must arrive for work on time and is ready to work at the time of the start of the shift. Follows meal/break guidelines

• Employee must follow Lakewood Landing policies and procedures

• Employee must be efficient and well organized

• Employee must take ownership of their job duty checklist

• The employee conducts oneself in a professional matter

• The employee actively participates and supports organizational initiatives

Job requirements:

• Provide companionship to residents

• Must always treat clients with complete respect and cooperation-no exception

• Assist with any needs of clients first

• Changing bed linens and making bed

• Vacuuming and sweeping, mopping and emptying garbage

• Dusting, wiping down surfaces with disinfectant, cleaning mirrors, sink & toilet

• Scrubbing out shower area on weekly clean

• Restocking supplies on cart as needed and at end of shift

• Simple maintenance tasks as needed, such as changing a light bulbs

• Full cleaning of vacant rooms if client is discharged

• Perform laundry duties as directed

• Following duty sheets while maintaining schedule of full room cleans for that day

• Perform all duties that have been detailed on the shift duties schedule

• Any other cleaning tasks delegated by administrator or assistant administrator

• Comply with all OSHA and state health dept. regulations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $9.69 - $13.57 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Mandan, ND 58554: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
