REGISTERED NURSE -
New Light Hospice is a leading and established Hospice provider in Houston and surrounding areas, providing hospice care since 2015.
We are currently seeking an experienced Hospice Registered Nurses in Southeast Houston Areas: Baytown, Pasadena, La Porte, Clear Lake, Alvin, League City, Seabrook, Texas City, and Galveston areas to deliver care with compassion, commitment, and professionalism to the local community of Southeast Houston and surrounding areas. As a Registered Nurse, you will:
· Work one-on-one with patients in a home environment
· Computerized documentation
· Provide skilled care to the patient as per physicians’ orders and by instruction to LVN’s, Hospice Aides, and other qualified staff.
· Perform Responsibility for Patient Admission, Plan of Care, Regular Visit, Recertification and Discharge.
· Exercise strong decision making and judgment skills
· Registered Nurses work with an interdisciplinary team in IDT.
Qualifications:
· Registered Nurses must be licensed in the State of Texas.
· Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate degree in nursing
· Minimum of one year Hospice experience preferred.
· Must be CPR certified
· Must work well independently, enjoy problem solving and understand the importance of accurate documentation.
· Must have critical thinking skills.
· Must have exceptional interpersonal skills.
· Valid Driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance.
