  • Location: Edinburgh
  • Salary: £24k per annum
  • Role Type: Permanent, Full Time 40 hours
  • Shift pattern: 5 over 7

Role Purpose:
Be at the heart of our home-delivery team and make car buying easy! Your role helps us to deliver the best car-buying experience, delivering customer dreams whilst ensuring unrivalled levels of quality, service, and support.
Context
Be welcomed into the Motorpoint family through our newly formed home-delivery role, reporting to the National Transport Manager.

Role Responsibilities
Attend all matters appertaining the smooth running of Motorpoint’s home-delivery service

Inclusive of:

  • Ensuring deliveries are covered and completed on time and to the ‘Motorpoint standard’
  • Load, unload and drive our trucks according to company standards and HSE policy
  • Complete any relevant administration, as required – usually digitally (via a smartphone/tablet) but could occasionally be paperwork too.
  • Maintain a safe driving record
  • Participate in multi-skilling initiatives including training others in your duties and/or being trained in theirs.
  • You may be required to work temporarily in other locations from time to time as the Employer may reasonably require.

Qualifications

  • A full C1 UK/EA licence (Lorries between 3500kg and 7500kg with a trailer up to 750kg) with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Valid DCPC & Digital Tachograph card

  • A customer focused mindset with a passion for delivering great customer service
  • Strong verbal and numerical analytical ability
  • Great communication skills and ability to question, listen, interpret, and explain concepts
  • A desire to win hearts and minds, and quickly adopt the values of the business
