Job description

• Be the leader and train housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasks
• Oversee housekeeping staff on a daily basis and adhere to hotel policies for timeliness
• Check rooms and common areas, including stairways and lounge areas, for cleanliness
• Schedule shifts and arrange for replacements in cases of absence
• Take up task to clean rooms specially when shorthanded or business is slow
• Establish and educate staff on cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene standards
• Motivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the job
• Respond to customer complaints and special requests
• Monitor and replenish cleaning products
• Participate in large cleaning projects as required
• Lead by example
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Housekeeping: 5 years (Required)
