PWH is seeking a Program Manager to manage one of our Group Homes who is compassionate, demonstrates leadership and is responsible for the management of the program’s day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifies and implements tasks and activities designed to assist each resident to meet individual goals as identified in the Individual Service Plan (ISP).
  • Develops and actively implements the daily/monthly activity schedule and the community outing schedule.
  • Prepares, distributes and manages schedules for staffing, transportation, activities and outings.
  • Responds to employee call-ins, secures appropriate coverage.
  • Provides direction to and is a role model for Assistant Program Manager and Direct Care Staff.
  • Completes performance evaluations for all supervised staff.
  • Demonstrates fiscal responsibility regarding Company and resident funds.
  • Performs functions of Direct Care staff role routinely to ensure needs of residents are met.
  • Communicates essential information to their Management Team, Direct Care Staff, Residents and external contacts as assigned while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Maintains awareness of all residents and is responsible for ensuring their health, safety and welfare.
  • Protects resident rights
  • Completes all essential paperwork on residents
  • Maintains quality assurance standards
  • Maintenance/repair of buildings/grounds/vehicles.
  • Ensures that cleaning tasks and duties for the site are completed.
  • Complies with and positively reinforces with others, the Companies’ guidelines, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Have a Passion of helping others.
  • High School Diploma, GED or HSED required; Bachelor’s degree in social or behavioral science field preferred.
  • Minimum one year of experience in treating or working with developmentally disabled persons.
  • Experience managing a group home is required.
  • Established work history demonstrating leadership, organizational skills, initiative and team building are highly sought after.
  • Must have a valid WI Driver's License and personal auto insurance, and must be able to drive a large passenger van (we train).

Hours:

This is a first/second shift position. Flexibility is needed to cover third shift and to be on call every other week, 24 hour/7 days a week, if the need arises.

*Locations include Oconomowoc, Watertown, Dousman, Hartland, Waukesha and Brookfield.*
