JOB SUMMARY:
This Graphic Designer role will have focus in motion graphics and is responsible for executing creative projects from concept to completion. You must be able to work on digital projects, as well as print projects. You will work closely with the Marketing and Creative Team to ensure projects are on brand and on time. You should be able to tackle projects holistically and ensure consistency of materials across various marketing channels.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Responsible for designing and delivering collateral through various channels, mainly digital/animation, which includes social media and email, as well as designing static collateral for print
• Must be able to develop creative from scratch and produce creative that is on brand used across all platforms utilizing animation and print
• Follow and understand brand guidelines and be responsible for the quality and accuracy of all collateral
• Strong aesthetic and typography skills
• Be able to select colors, fonts, photos, and other design elements that help effectively communicate project goals
• Ensure timely coordination and completion of projects; must be deadline driven
• Maintain and follow best practices for versioning control, naming convention and organization of graphic files
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Work with Marketing Team to bring ideas to life and make sure messaging is on point
• Passionate about design and staying current with trends, especially within the industry
• Take the initiative to solve problems autonomously - be focused on solution-oriented discussions and execution
• Pitch and present work and be able to clearly communicate concept rationales
• Ensure digital designs are formatted correctly, including color for print, die-lines, layout, etc.
• Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Preferred experience working in-house or at an agency with a couple years of experience
• Preferred degree in graphic design, motion graphics, graphic arts or similar area
• High level proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud and industry standard use (After Effects, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
• Must have knowledge of motion graphics/animation
• Video editing is a plus
• Knowledge of print design and print production
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of creative design trends and best practices
• The ability to showcase creative problem-solving
• Collaborative and comfortable as a team player, open to feedback
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Portfolio of work that is well-rounded and demonstrates relevant experience that shows independently produced original samples
• Casino Industry experience is a plus
• Consistent and regular attendance is essential

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds to be able to perform inspector and utility duties as needed
• Tasks performed from a sitting or non-sitting position
