The Global Sales Enablement Specialist will direct global sales support functions essential to revenue growth and sales force productivity including sales process optimization, sales program implementation, sales partners' compensation design and administration. Responsible for a successful sales support team that consistently meets or exceeds performance metrics and allows outside sales team to focus on winning new business; champion customer advocacy; ethical business practice; and strict legal compliance throughout the sales execution process.

*In order to support daily operations this position is mostly on-site, allowing up to 4 days per month remote flexibility*


Essential Duties and Responsibilities
include the following. Additional responsibilities may be assigned:

Reporting

  • Maintain an energized environment that promotes the achievement of business goals using practices that are aligned with the company's core values and desire to be professional and "best in class" relative to Customer Service.
  • Inputting forecast information into the ERP system whether customer forecast or generated from historical data. Lead the Sales and Operations process to work with the Business Units on a periodic basis to refresh forecast algorithms.
  • Manage annual sales forecasting process and respond to special requests. Devise ways to develop more accurate predictions
  • Monitor distributor sales reports and other intelligence that may lead to new business opportunities, increased sales, or a competitive advantage. Assist marketing team in growth strategy for components/flow business through these distributors.
  • Identify and manage effective sales processes and tools, including training and reporting. Asist in the sales training curriculum and provide weekly content along with subject matter experts. Build training agenda and record all sessions. Store all recorded videos in a library for later viewing and onboarding.

Analytics

  • Develop continuous improvement initiatives for Quality/Efficiency/Cost Savings involving sales.
  • Promote total service to the customer by assisting the Customer Experience (CX) team including sense of urgency to complete tasks, speed of response, delighting customers with service, communication, and speed.
  • Participate in continuous process improvement between sales department and all of its internal stakeholders (ie. Engineering, Quality, Shipping, Finance).
  • Analyze and resolve sales, pricing, contract and other issues related to sales.
  • Maintain internal price books and pricing provided to external sales partners. Identify opportunities where margin can be improved
  • Recommend revisions to existing reports or assist in developing new reporting tools as needed. Report/present as needed

Training / Management

  • Define, streamline and develop uniform sales processes across all geographic territories (wherever possible) and with product groups. Ensure operational playbook/sales standards manual is complete and kept up to date.
  • Maintain Sales Onboarding Programs, training and video library for new associates and new representative/distributors.
  • Make recommendations with interfacing departments to improve timeliness and efficiency of order fulfillment process, from point of receipt of order through shipment.
  • Assist in defining company sales strategies to ensure profitability and continued revenue growth. Use sales reporting tools to lend visibility to and proactively work to correct negative trends.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university
  • 3-4 years sales operations experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with CRM and proficient in Excel
