Bistro781 is looking for the right fit to join our close-knit team in the key role of General Manager. We are a successful, high-volume restaurant with a non-pretentious attitude; we do things our way and have built a brand that is known for our scratch kitchen, our yes attitude, our emphasis on teamwork, and our genuine hospitality. We do not have egos and from the GM to the bussers, and the dishwashers, we pride ourselves on being a true team. We are an all hands on deck type of restaurant/organization; all of us do what is needed to make our restaurants successful and run smoothly. We are seeking someone with experience in providing excellent hospitality that keeps guests returning, while leading a team of staff that has clear direction. The main duties of the GM include but are not limited to: scheduling of all FOH staff, establishing and enforcing expectations and policies throughout the restaurant, leading the floor, bar, and flow of the restaurant, instilling and maintaining our standards and culture, training and hiring new employees, communicating with all vendors, conducting inventory/ordering and payroll, and being an active liaison with the back of the house and culinary director. Most importantly, you will work closely with the owner to understand and implement his vision. We are looking for someone that is an excellent communicator and leader, someone who is organized and confident, someone who understands what makes restaurants best flow, and someone who is willing to grow and learn with us. You must set a positive example, learn all aspects of our business inside and out, and be a hands-on leader. You will oversee FOH managers who will help implement the day to day operations. Candidates must be punctual, responsible, organized, and able to multi-task and prioritize. Customer service and communication with staff are a top priority. The right person for this job will embrace “the Bistro way” and be an ambassador of the brand we have taken much pride in creating.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
