Domus Management Company, an established Affordable Housing Property Management Company, is currently looking for an General Ledger Specialist to join our team at our corporate office in Lodi, CA.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3 plus years of General Ledger experience
  • Multiple sets of books
  • Accrual Accounting experience
  • Ability to analyze and research transactions
  • Team player willing to support all accounting positions
  • Experience with Property Management a plus
  • Experience with a fast-paced work environment

DAILY DUTIES & RESPSONSIBILITIES:

  • Review and correct monthly financial reports to include A/R Report, Budget Comparison, Balance Sheet, and Rent Roll
  • Maintain project lead sheet schedules and ensure they tie to the monthly financial reports
  • Work with Director of Finance to ensure each project meets the required debt coverage ratio
  • Record/reclassify approved reserve expenditures
  • Bank reconciliations for all assigned projects
  • Check Yardi open batches and work with site staff to clear for month end.
  • Post tenant NSF checks in Yardi
  • Complete all Landlord verifications
  • Enter bi-weekly Payroll journal entries
  • Yardi month-end processing
  • Preparation of annual 571 forms
  • Lender year-end financial reporting
  • Preparation of annual business license renewals
  • Preparation of annual audit packages and submit packages to auditors
  • Research/answer auditor questions
  • All other duties as assigned by the Director of Finance

COMPENSATION:

  • Full Time – Monday-Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Hourly Pay Rate $22 - $24 per hour (based on experience)
